In order to improve our offer relating to cruising and diving by the Ship Borna to the best of our power, we wondered what might be the most attractive targets our guests - divers would like to see. Divers – guests coming with the intention to dive in the Adriatic Sea are given poor information from few books, leaflets, brochures placed at their disposal before arrival, and a few of such information do actually refer to the Adriatic. Many of the guests come to see big fish only and their knowledge about the rest of the sea life is quite vague. Trying to keep our guests from getting disappointed on cruising we have worked out an additional offer called Photo safari.
Photo safari involves getting familiar with, and an organized viewing of the Adriatic full of interesting living objects.
Before setting about safari – diving, our instructors and diving guides shall give interesting lectures to get you acquainted with the living underwater life. A considerable amount, nearly 35.000 kinds of animals, algae and plants living in the Mediterranean has been settled here or visit the Adriatic from time to time. However, most divers do not notice more than a few kinds of such living objects although being within their reach.
After the lectures are completed you will know quite well what could be seen at a particular diving location and how to reach the hidden sea inhabitants. In addition to description referring to various organisms you will get information on places they usually occupy and what is a probability to encounter them. It is the aim of these lectures and planned diving to give satisfaction to our guests and induce them to repeat such adventure in the Adriatic, and that such pleasant experience is passed on their friends and acquaintances.
